Silicates
Silicate material (sand), dissolved in alkaline solutions (sodium and potassium) is called water glass. It has the same characteristics as glass, but at the same time because of its high alkaline properties, it is soluble in water and therefore it can be mixed into aqueous solutions under all conditions.
