Silkem developed Zeolite and has manufactured Zeolite products since more than 20 years - the basis and the development of the company are ultimately connected to Zeolite 4A.

Zeolite 4A is a synthetic product, with special characteristics which actually caused an ecological revolution as it successfully replaced the environmentally harmful ingredients in detergents. Detergents manufactured based on Zeolite 4A cause no over-development of algae in lakes and rivers (excessive fertilisation with phosphates). Zeolite 4A is produced using completely natural ingredients which after functioning, are bio-degradable. Therefore, as is Zeolite 4A itself, also its production is beneficial for the environment and its population.

Modified Zeolite
Modified Zeolite differs from standard Zeolite 4A by its higher apparent weight, improved flow character and larger granulometry, which is an advantage when using Zeolite for special applications
