January 2010 - The project of ultra fine milling of aluminas is in progress and will be finished in Q2 of this year. The goal of this new tehnology is the production of special aluminas with avarage particle size distribution (D50)from 0,5 to 1,5µm. The main application of these new products will be refractory, ceramic and polishing industry.

1st December 2008 - SILKEM has pre-registered all substances from its production program. All necessary activities for registration are in progress and will be finished in due time.

20^th May 2008 - Owing to heavy demand, the zeolite with lower residue on the sieve is available also in 25 kilogram paper bags packing.

19^th May 2008 - SILKEM realized successfully the industrial test production of sintered spinel.

May 2008 - SILKEM stops the production of boron fertiliser Topbor. A limited quantity of disposal to the potential customers at favourable delivery terms.

8^th June 2007 - SILKEM has successfully started production of zeolite with lower residue on the sieve.

10^th June 2006 - SILKEM has successfully started trial production of zeolite with lower residue on the sieve.

1^st June 2006 - Fertiliser with mineral content – TOPBOR is now available in more practical paking for winegrowers, agriculturists and allotment holderrs. TOPBOR can now be found beside standard 5 kilogram packing also in 100 gram and 1 kilogram packaging

31^th may 2006 - SILKEM has successfully produced first bigger quantities of low alkaline tabular alumina.

20^th May 2006 - SILKEM has also this year successfully presented its programs of Tabular and Calcined Alumina on trade fair Ceramitec 2006 - 10th International Trade Fair for Machinery, Equipment, Plant, Processes and Raw Materials for Ceramics and Powder Metallurgy,  which has been taken from 16-19 May in Münich – Germany. Representatives of company Silkem have in four market days performed a lot of discussion with there existent costumer and new potential costumer on there market stand.
